***TTE2 Altoid Tin (it's going to the post office today, so you'll see a pic sometime next week). I'm very happy with the stitching part, I'm a little less thrilled with the finish (but I'm super hard on my self, and I really hope the recipient likes it). I didn't think it all the way through before I started gluing. If you learn anything from me today - think things all the way through before gluing.
***My teal top is done! Really and truly finished! Hanging-in-my-closet-done! I sewed the buttons on the shoulders last night, and no I didn't take a picture. I was hoping to be able to wear it for Easter - I'll try it on and see, but I don't think that it will fit properly across the tummy.
***Easter sweaters for the girls (here's Hallie modeling hers over a shirt, lol). So here's my Easter pet-peeve - dresses are all summery, but sweaters are nowhere to be found. This is my 7th Easter as a mommy, and I can never find an affordable little cover-up for bare arms at a time of year when snow is still threatening. So I made them. This is the reason I learned crochet to begin with - so I can solve my own problems. This is a free pattern from Lion Brand, size small. For Katie, I had to modify the instructions to make it extra-small, and try it on her a couple of times so it would fit. I'm glad I did Hallie's first - once I understood the construction, it was easy to make it smaller.
Today was our community Easter Egg Hunt - I learned last year that you have to arrive at least 30 minutes early to get a parking spot. This year we not only found a place to park, we were at the line long before the race began. We have another tonight at church - a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt! That should be interesting. I helped with sticking little pieces of glow-in-the-dark tape on the plastic eggs. Now we're just praying that it doesn't rain this evening!
Have a blessed Easter weekend, my friends!

What a cute little sweater! Yup sometimes you have to solve your problems yourself! My Mum used to make all our dresses. There's something else for you to try, then the easter dresses would be what you want them to be!
@Dani - I thought about making them dresses last weekend, and.......well, it took me a month to finish a tunic top for myself. I have to start on Valentine's Day to be ready for Easter! LOL Thanks!
Love the sweater, and it looks like she does too!! And thanks for the link to the Lion Brand site, I didn't know they had so many free patterns :)
