I'm a proud, crafty mommy! Hallie wanted to make a purse for her friend's birthday gift. So she went through some of my fabric scraps to find something girly, and we settled on a blue flowered print and a pink "bubbles" print, with dark denim handles. Here's Hallie learning how to use the sewing machine. I helped her feed the fabric through, but she operated the motor with her foot, and her hand! The purse will be reversible. She also helped with some of the seams on one panel. I'll update with another pic when it's finished. My back wouldn't take sitting in that chair any longer.
